The Circles

I produce frottages of different percussion instruments with charcoal sticks. This visualization is done under simultaneous acoustic influence, a process in which a picture is being developed in parallel while following a sound-rhythmic motif. These actions are recorded acoustically. All circular frottages thus receive their original sound. In the installation, a selection of those sounds is reassigned to its drawings, which are played on repeat at the same time.
