The artistic practice of Ulrich Eller is based on the observation of visual and acoustic perceptions.
His expressive potential is extremely diverse. Sculptural works are located in public spaces and space-related sound installations are present in museum contexts of the art space or at select locations.
In addition to the three-dimensional works involving sound, Ulrich Eller develops an independent drawing practice, which deals with special fields of sound and their ability to be depicted.

A special feature of many of Ulrich Eller's works that deal with specific architectural situations is their fit into the structures of their local environment as if they had always been there.
His artistic works are always in a direct relationship with the listening observation: sometimes it is the idea of interactivity based on fixed composed sequences, sometimes a fundamentally changing idea of material, weight and mass impressions due to the disposition of hearing and seeing simultaneously. Here the artist uses the insight of interweaving all senses and seeks specific connections in the subjective perception of sound and visuality.
